Why Should You Come?
Whether you are a professional trying to promote a business, ministry, or a student eager to gather more information and resources that you can use to refine your skills, this workshop is for you! We have tailored our workshop sessions into two sections. The first session is set with tips and tricks for creating or choosing designs that you can use to their greatest marketing potential. The second is catered towards general branding and how you can capitalize on your resources even if your budget is small.
Out of the Box
There's an old saying, "think outside the box" but how often do we really take the time to do that? Many times it seems faster and more convenient to duplicate something that's already being done. It may sound like a good idea to do what everyone else is doing, if it appears to be working for them, but sometimes you end up just being another voice at a rock concert filled with a sea of screaming people. Sometimes the most effective thing can be much simpler than you might think, sometimes all you need is a little more knowledge.

Our keynote speaker, JP Jones, is an absolute vault of knowledge in the fields of marketing and design. Jones is an adjunct Professor at Oral Roberts University, and she has written a highly successful book, Market Yourself: A Beginner's Guide to Social Media, which details how to use FREE marketing tools to leverage your awareness through social media and the importance of creating online connections and networking. She is also the owner of Paige1media, a full service graphics house in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Jones has spoken at conferences in and out of the state of Oklahoma and she is sure to leave you with more resources and information than you'll know what to do with.

Julie Snowden and Amanda King are the owners of SnowKing Media, a graphic design firm based in Tulsa, Oklahoma. They design a variety of projects for clients across the nation. They partnered with Paige1media to develop Odd Man Out to help bring awareness to ministries, businesses, and students of the impact good design can have on their success. Odd Man Out is also aimed at offering the opportunity to learn new angles of design, gain resources, and make networking connections.
